Call For Entries
Sensoria is now looking for exciting new work in the realms of music and film – this can include fiction features or short films with an innovative soundtrack, music related biopics, music documentary and truly exceptional music video. Films should have been completed after 2007.
Sensoria prefers music submissions that outline how their proposed project or set includes an innovative, exciting use of visuals.
There is no submission fee.
Submissions should include a CD or DVD, short synopsis, two production stills and full contact details. They should arrive no later than 30 November at the following address:
Sensoria submissions, PO Box 4454, Sheffield S8 2FX
In The Nursery’s premiere performance at Sheffield Cathedral was a festival highlight for many. The subsequent international tour has taken In The Nursery to the Wave Gothic Festival in Leipzig where they played to audiences of 1200. Co-commissioners The Barbican saw the Sheffield-based duo play to a sell out crowd in June and since then they have performed the new score at Dokufest in Kosovo, MOFFOM Festival, Prague, the Silent Movie Theatre in Los Angeles and St. Martin’s Cathedral, Leicester.
2009 will see them presenting the score in San Francisco, Madrid and Hong Kong.
The CD soundtrack is on sale now and available via iTunes.
A great legacy for the first edition of Sensoria.
